November 13, 2011 - the day we put up our FIRST Christmas tree in 9 years of marriage, can you tell we were a bit excited! We've always traveled for two to three weeks at Christmas since we lived across the country. But now that we're closer, it finally makes it worth it to decorate for Christmas and enjoy it for more than two weeks. And if a tree is going up, well then we're going to enjoy it for as long as we can. We found the prettiest 9 foot tree (obviously fake) on Craigslist, purchased, decorated with ornaments I had accumulated thus far, and enjoyed! (a few more decorative pieces were added to the tree but it was presentable at this point)
