Kenedee showing off her candy stash she collected from the parade - SCORE!

After the parade, we grabbed some Quiznos and headed to the Park for our yearly picnic with friends...Valentines, Jones, and Frandsens. It was fun catching up with everyone. But these two mostly loved running up and down this hill (which happened about ten times)...

Grandpa Craig, Grandma Kris, and Aunt Kate took the kids to the Snake River to dip their feet in before we left...

My Grandpa Earl joined us this year in the Falls. He is one great guy!

We headed home, put the kids down for naps and played some intense rounds of Croquet - sweetness! After which came one tasty dinner. My parents usually BBQ but with them just getting back from New Mexico, they ordered Chili's To Go. It tasted delicious in the backyard...

After dinner we headed down to the River to claim our spots for the Fireworks. Our friends staked out our spots a day or two before and it didn't disappoint this year. We get so close to the Fireworks that they are literally over your head, AMAZING!!!

We saw our friends Ryan & Heather Inns... (They lived super close to us in Atlanta)

Some of our crew before the Fireworks. It was crazy waiting until 10 for it to get dark in Idaho. They have the longest evenings in the summer. But the kids did great. Lincoln was not so much a fan and hid his face in Adam's chest until the Finale. And Kenedee thought it was awesome. Happy 4th!
