Our house SOLD today, closing docs signed, and we're done! YAY!!!!!!! We couldn't be more relieved to have that house sold. Our renter who signed a lease-purchase one year ago converted it to a purchase and the day finally came. What a relief, seriously! It's seems so long ago that we lived in Atlanta but one year ago we packed up our Penske truck and drove across the country.
It has been one CRAZY year and I'm so happy life is finally settling down around here. In the last year Adam graduated Law School, we moved into Adam's Aunts house last July (moving our stuff into the basement of Adam's office), found a house to buy in Arizona, waited four months to finally close on the slowest-moving purchase, moved our stuff out of the Office basement and into the Aunt's garage, closed on the our Arizona house days before Christmas vacation, moved everything out of the Aunt's garage and into our new house, Adam studied his tail off for the Arizona Bar, Adam took the Arizona Bar, passed the Bar, Lawyer Adam, and have now sold our home in Georgia. I don't know how we survived but it's done and LIFE IS FEELING GOOD!
It was hard leaving Georgia. It had become our first true home after college (being there four years). We bought our first house there, my sister & her husband were there, we made super close friends, the city was fun, shopping was sweet, the Outlets were fabulous, beach trips Aaaa-mazing, and the food became some of our favorites. And although it makes me sad to think about all of the amazing times we had out there, we're so happy to be where we are. We love you ARIZONA. Here's to one sweet year ahead!
