Lincoln loves his Grandpas (he loves his grandmas too but the obsession for Grandpa cracks me up). The instant my parents arrived he was my dad's little buddy. And I mean attached-at-the-hip buddy...'grandpa, you're my best friend' followed by 'grandpa, i love you' all the while giving him a giant hug or caressing his face. I'm still laughing now just thinking about how much he told my dad that in the two days they were here...for sure over 100 times. Lincoln can be a crazy boy but he is also a total lover!

Near the end of our walk we came across this awesome circle patch of prickly pears and saguaro cactus. We had to take a pic...

I think the purple prickly pears are awesome. Kenedee thought so too since she took this picture...

After our morning out we headed home to get ready for church, went to church, and came home to enjoy one delicious dinner...ribs (oh sooo yummy), baked potatoes (love my idaho potatoes!), artichokes (family fave), fruit, and a delicious dessert. The kids enjoyed making the finishing touches to the brownie pumpkin...

Our dinner was interrupted every two minutes by the doorbell ringing (it was Halloween). I didn't really want to answer the door that evening since we had just sat down for dinner but Adam volunteered to be the door-getter (he might have regretted that one after giving candy out to over 100 trick or treaters) :) Thanks Mom & Dad for spending your weekend with us!
