IDAHO, at last

It's time to update the blog, huh (since we got home two weeks ago!).

We left for Idaho on July 1st and stayed the night in St. George with Tiff & Dave. It's always fun to catch up with them and makes it the perfect stop in between our 14 hour drive. On July 2nd, we left St. George and stopped for lunch to meet up with some of our closest friends from Georgia (who were home for vacation in UT). We have missed them dearly so it was fun to catch up over lunch...

Marissa & Me (I don't know why, maybe it's just the blonde hair, but wherever we went in Atlanta, people were always asking us if we were sisters, sometimes twins. We would always look at eachother and start laughing. Quite a few times my sister Kellie would be with us and they'd ask if all three of us were sisters. Nope, but I sure love this girl!)

The kids: Kenedee, Jaxson, McKenzi, & Lincoln (Kenedee was sure HAPPY to see Jaxson, she loves that kid!)

Group pic after lunch...

We sadly said goodbye to them and finished the rest of our journey arriving home to Idaho Falls. My parents drove all the way back from New Mexico that day as well (14 hours for them in one day) so we were all happy to be home! Can you see how excited these two were. Happy day to be done driving and home at Grandma & Grandpa's.

We can't come home and not stop at Reeds Dairy for ice cream! After buying some fireworks my parents treated us to some yummy ice cream and up-close time with the cows.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Kenedee. I love that she got her dad's dimples - she is one cute girl!

We grabbed our jackets, fireworks, and walked up to the cul-de-sac for the traditional neighborhood fireworks (which, over the years, has dwindled down to four families making an appearance). Kenedee LOVED every second of it and learned how to light the fireworks all by herself. She would put her firework on the stand, light the match, spark the wick, and run away. It sure made me nervous but she was loving it. Lincoln on the other hand was not so much a fan of the fireworks. He was Mr. Cuddles that night.
