LAKE POWELL, I do love you!!!

Our family vacations worked out perfectly this year with Adam's family in Southern Utah for a week and my family vacation at Powell the following week. We hung around St. George for the weekend with some friends (between Brian Head & Lake Powell). We then drove over to Powell on Sunday, August 8th, meeting my family there.

My little niece, Scout, just celebrated her 1st Birthday so we partied it up on Sunday night after we all arrived. I hadn't seen her in about 9 months so it was fun to see her all grown-up (if you call a one year old grown-up). She is adorable and a petite little thing. Little Scouty was loving her new presents from Grandma & Grandpa...

DAY ONE
Monday morning came and we were all excited to get out on the Lake. The kids scored toys from Grandma & Grandpa each day, they were all loving their new glasses...

We started off our day at Sand Mountain, one of our favorites. It's always a trek up: legs burning, chest burning, but it's all worth it! Here's the view from bottom and top...

My Fam! (Kristopher (brother), Scout, Asher, Celeste (s-i-l), Olivia, Kate (sister), Mom, Dad, Kellie (sister), Cooper, Steve (b-i-l), Me, Lincoln, Adam, & Kenedee; we missed my little bro Kurt, Paige, & Benson but Kurt was just starting his first year at Medical School and couldn't make it out this year.
