the Last of Brian Head

Adam was able to meet up with us for our last two days in Brian Head. His plans were to drive over on Wednesday night (August 4th), leaving work around lunchtime. But he wasn't able to get out until 6 PM putting him in Brian Head at 2 AM, not fun. He ended up getting lost for an hour and a half in the mountains (middle of NOWHERE) on a dirt road at 2 AM - while we were all sound asleep in the cabin. No cell phone reception of course, he followed his GPS telling him to take this dirt road which he finally turned around after 10 miles. A little craziness but he finally made it and I was extremely relieved! We were so happy to have him around!

Before we took off hiking for the day we were able to get a picture of the Barlow Grandkids. They are rising rather quickly with about 3 births a year so each time we get together it has rapidly grown. The cousins were partying all week!

Then off hiking we went checking out the sites...

Everytime we took a picture Lincoln would pop his little head around smiling as big as he could. He is one funny kid!

The scenery was beautiful!

We stopped at the Lake to let the kids run around. They were entertained by throwing rocks in the water forever as well as their dads.

On our last day there, we drove up to the Summit...beautiful and insanely windy.

Thanks Barlows for one fabulous week together in Brian Head!
