LP: Day Two

We headed over to Wahweap Window on Tuesday morning (Aug 10). We beached it for a bit and let the kids play in the sand. Gavin caught a toad and the rest of the kids immediately swarmed in. Kenedee thought it was pretty cool to hold him...

Kate & Me kicking it on the beach

We then hiked up to Wahweap Window and I couldn't resist a picture of this guy - my brother-in-law STEVE!!! He had the craziest facial hair going on and would create a new look each day. It took the first two days to get used to the look, we couldn't take him serious and would bust up laughing when we were talking to him. And it made it all the better with the shirt he was rocking...

Looking through Wahweap Window across the bay to Wahweap Marina.

Adam & Kenedee hiked up and around...

And finding my mark on the wall...that has been around for 21 years now

Adam was sporting his sweet DI find, a $2 POWELL shirt, perfect, along with his brand-new 1984 LA Olympics hat (also at DI). He bought me a matching visor for the trip but I didn't look so cool in mine :)

Tubing as a family. Kenedee loved it, Lincoln not so much.

Taking off down the lake...this is where Kenedee rode 90% of the time at Powell, which is a little crazy because that was my favorite place to ride as a kid. I think my Dad was having a little dejavu! It was fun to see her love it so much!
