PIERCE'S BIG DAY!!!

Sunday, June 5th, Pierce was given a name & a very special blessing by his dad at church. It was also Fast&Testimony mtg which meant Kenedee would bear her testimony on Pierce's special day. We had an FHE on 'testimonies' about two months prior to this so Kenedee had been practicing her testimony so that she would be able to get up and bear it in front of everyone. She went up originally with me when I bore mine but she would not do it. So we walked back down. When Adam went up to bear his he took Kenedee with him and got her to do it. I was so proud of her! She looked up at Dad for help when she got nervous but he just looked back down at her and nodded his head to keep going. It was a special day for our new family of five!

Lincoln and Pierce had coordinating outfits so knowing me, I had to color coordinate everyone's outfits. Here's our cute kids and one hot husband!

Pierce Jenson Barlow: 2 months old.

Is this not the sweetest little face...

After church we had some family and friends over for a lunch at our house. It was so nice that family could come share in this special day.

Adam's parents/sister headed back to LA after lunch. We were sad to see them go but knew we'd be seeing them the following weekend.

My dad & sister were flying out Monday afternoon and my mom was spending the week with us. So we had a nice relaxing Sunday eve. Last time they came to visit we went and checked out Saguaro Lake. We've been wanting to see another lake as well so we drove to Canyon Lake that afternoon. Since it was Sunday we obviously didn't swim but the water looked SOOOO refreshing on that hot day. It got us all pretty excited for our Lake Powell trip (just a few weeks away now!)

Grandpa Craig cooled Pierce down by dipping his feet in the water. Pierce wasn't too sure how he felt about that...

Thanks to everyone who came to share in his special day. Pierce, you are much loved!!!
