The last few Saturdays we've been trying to visit a few museums that we haven't seen since we'll be leaving Atlanta soon. We've heard a lot about the Fernbank Museum (yes Fernbank, not Spermbank).

It was interesting but way over priced. The coolest part about the museum was the top floor where they had these science experiments. Kenedee thought the giant bubbles were amazing...

Next up... Cyclorama - Home of the world's largest painting, "The Battle of Atlanta" and home of the historic Civil War locomotive, "TEXAS" (hero of the "Great Train Race"). We had no clue what to expect but it was pretty cool. The oil painting was four stories high and the length of a football field. To view the giant circle painting we sat in this stadium seating in the middle of the room and it would rotate as the story was told. It depicts the 'Battle of Atlanta' during the Civil War so it was interesting to see the city before all of the buildings and what took place here as a turning point in the war. Kenedee particularly loved the 'choo choo'.

This picture will be Lincoln's Halloween costume in the near future. The gift store had a Lincoln top hat and beard to buy so we couldn't resist taking a pic...

Painting the pig... We got this piggy bank for Kenedee with a painting kit to personalize the bank. Kenedee went to town on this baby today! Isn't it a beauty!!!

And lastly, this little man is getting into EVERYTHING. His new favorite thing is crawling over to the couch, coffee table, bookcase or just about anything he can pull himself up to. He found the DVD tower today and started pulling the DVDs out and throwing them on the floor. This kid is on the move!
