Thanksgiving this year (2011) was spent in California with Adam's
family. It was a low-key weekend, perfect weather, and fabulous company.
We started our Thanksgiving Day off with a ride around the hills of
Burbank. Adam had bought himself a new bike in the Fall and surprised me
with a new one in November (for my early Christmas present) so we
brought both bikes with us so we could go on a few rides together. Previous to
this weekend, we had been biking together on our weekends, a new love
together...but the rides were killing our behinds. So Adam bought us
some gear so it looked like we knew what we were doing - awesome helmets
and those super tight shorts with butt pads in em :) So this
Thanksgiving Day ride was a big one since we finally
accumulated all the gear. I thought I'd be funny and take a pic of Adam in his awesome shorts cause we were laughing so hard but this is all ya get! Good times...
While we were on our ride, the kids were back at Grandma & Grandpa Barlow's house making flowers and coloring pictures. Grandma keeps them busy...
The kids got to open their dodger pajamas from Grandma & Grandpa since we wouldn't be with them at Christmas.
And they couldn't help but love on Pierce...
Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures at our Thanksgiving table but Annell made one delicious meal. Those in attendance...Dennis & Annell, our family, Jacob & Melanie, Melanie's mother, Kim, Taylor, & Hannah. Happy Thanksgiving!
