Early Easter, Conference, Benson, Presents, & Eggs

Yes, we did all of those things in one day...Saturday, April 3rd. My parents were driving back to Idaho on Sunday so we started off our Saturday morning with an Easter egg/candy hunt for the kids. My grandparents always did this so it was fun to have my parents do it for their grandkids. They acquired quite the stash!

The kiddos Easter bags from the Grandparents... let's just say the Easter Bunny went easy on them actual Easter morning since they got loaded up.

Cooper had no clue what was going on, he was just happy to be here!

Our morning/afternoon was filled with early Easter celebrating and listening to General Conference. After the afternoon session, baby Benson was blessed in our home. Kurt, Paige, & Benson came over for a bit and then Paige's family showed up for the blessing and dinner. It was fun to have everyone over and spend some time with little Benson. He reminded me a lot of Lincoln at that age, they were both the same weight, tiny, and were blessed in almost the same little outfit. Kurt gave an awesome blessing and was such a cute dad. Paige looked amazing for giving birth two weeks before, that girl! The Wilde's brought over dinner so we all grubbed on Pei Wei after the blessing.

My FAM! (minus Kellie's husband Steve (in Atlanta) and my brother's family (in Kansas City)

WHOA BABY!!! Here's Benson (at 2 weeks) with his cousin Cooper (6 months). We were laughing so hard when we put these two next to eachother, crazy!

After Priesthood Session, Lincoln opened his early birthday presents from my parents. Lincoln's birthday was two weeks away so they let him celebrate early...

He thought his bubble mower was pretty cool!

And we ended our night with some Easter egg coloring!
