ZIONS: Hidden Canyon

Day Two (afternoon) my dad took us girls up Hidden Canyon while my mom stayed back with the napping kids. This was our last big hike of the trip and it was a good one! It was a pretty intense hike at the beginning with switchbacks straight up the mountain but then came the fun part: maneuvering around rocks and hiking up the canyon which reminded me a lot of our Lake Powell hikes up the canyons.

Once up the canyon we found SNOW!

We hiked up as far as the Arch, which was pretty cool to see.

My Daddy-O

Kate was feeling all awkward just standing in all of these pics so we busted out some sweet poses, good times!

Kellie made us laugh when she busted out this one...

Hiking back out...

It was a pretty killer view on the way out. Even though there was a straight drop-off on one side of the trail, I had no problems with this one. It was beautiful!

My dad really wanted to take us on Observation Point, one of his favorites, but we ran out of time. Maybe next time. If you look closely you can see Weeping Rock behind us as well as Observation Point hike (which takes you up on top of that mountain across the way, crazy!) Thanks Mom & Dad for treating us to some good times!!!
