Friday, May 18th, Kenedee had her Kindergarten Musical at the Elementary School. They sang songs together and then each class sang a song related to letters, the alphabet, or sounds. Pretty cute. Each class had a different colored shirt with letters all over it, Kenedee's class was blue....
After the Musical her teacher invited us back to the classroom. Lincoln thought this was pretty cool and Kenedee felt cool showing it off :)
Pierce thought the table and chairs were pretty sweet. He would crawl over to the table, climb up & sit on the chair, and then look around smiling away: clearly proud of himself.
Well hello...
Kenedee's teacher had given them each their scrapbooks after the Musical. These were quite the books she had compiled with projects from every month this last year, writings, drawings, pictures, etc. It was amazing. But even more amazing that she had one for every child. Kenedee loved showing us her work...
That evening we had a 'March Madness' party at our friends' house. A bunch of us had done the brackets together and the winner was going to be crowned at a party held on the night of the final game of the NCAA bball championships. Well the hosts got sick that day (back in March) so we had a 'May Madness' party instead. Janeen reigned victorious but even better was the purple crown she received. Go Janeen!
After the party we went home to grab our kids from the babysitter and headed to another friends house for a projected movie in the backyard or 'screen on the green'. We had done this with them two weeks prior and LOVED it...perfect weather, good company, all around a sweet time. So that night we watched 'Flight of the Navigator'. After the movie, Shawn switched on the Lakers game so we could all enjoy the 4th quarter. They ended up winning which put a smile on Adam's face that night. What a fun time.
