Day 5 (September 20th) - Grand Cayman
We lucked out with beautiful weather our entire cruise except for our day at Grand Cayman. Luckily, the first bit of our day was pretty enough to enjoy our excursion to Stingray City. We took a boat quite a ways offshore and in the middle of the ocean is a sandbar which is famous for Stingrays. Here we are looking back at land...
Jumping into the water...
Here's our tour guy kicking it with the stingray that we were able to hold, give a slimy kiss to, and massaged Adam's chest. Good times...
I bought an underwater camera but was underwhelmed with the quality when they got developed. At least we have some pics to prove that we were swimming with the rays. I may have screamed a few times when the giant rays rubbed up against me, causing me to almost step on another swimming by my feet. Adam's favorite part was feeding em squid and letting them swim over your hand and suction it right out. These are some crazy creatures!
After our swim with the stingrays, we were able to hang out at Tiki Beach on Seven Mile Beach. It was beautiful, even with the lightning in the background :)
My roses were opening and looking lovely...
That night was our second Formal Night. It was fun getting all dressed up, even with my limited formal dress options with a pregnant belly. And A-man sporting his tux, love this handsome guy!!!
Souvenirs purchased from Grand Cayman: jewelry for me (wore my necklace to dinner that night), some jewelry for Kenedee, and some sweet t-shirts for ourselves. (Adam was hoping to find a Tee that said 'Cayman Islands for Mitt' or something like that which we had a good laugh about but nothing was found :)
