December 31st, 2012...NEW YEARS EVE!!!
The stomach flu had started to creep amongst the family by this point and with our 2011 Christmas season, neither Adam or I was wanting any part of it. So the crazy doterra oil applying and hand sanitizing was in full effect :) We also tried to keep the kids busy with some sightseeing which the Griffith Observatory never disappoints. It was the perfect day to head up there, check out the view, and let the kids run around. LA's skyline was incredibly clear that day...
The Observatory gives you the best view of the Hollywood sign and the Hollywood Hills...
Adam was wanting to fit in with the tourists - classic, haha!
Lincoln had gotten a new Leapster for Christmas but this new one has a camera on it and he couldn't stop taking pictures, seriously. Every five seconds he was snapping away around the grounds. We couldn't help but just watch him and laugh at how much he was enjoying it...
She loves her little bro...
Kenedee taught Pierce this awesome pose that afternoon which he pulls quite often now...what in the world :) Cute boy.
That evening we headed to Grandpa & Grandma's church building to spend our New Years Eve. It was the perfect location to eat all together as a family, play games, and ring in the New Year...
Adam taking the kids on a 'bear hunt'... (he's a master at this one)
Grandpa & Grandma handing out the gear to ring in the New Year...
3....2....1.... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
And the flu struck again that night, poor Grandma went home sick :(
