Saturday was our Ward Pinewood Derby contest. Since we don't have that many scouts they opened it up to the Primary-aged kids as well; so Kenedee had to have a car! I must say that Adam overly enjoyed making this car. He created the car (shape/weights/wheels) and I was in charge of painting it. We both had a sweet time together making this car, so much that Adam suggested making a new car each week (jokingly).

Unfortunately Kenedee's wheels kept falling off. Adam bought full axles to use instead of just the nails. But when we arrived at the park, one of the hub caps (which holds the wheel on the axle) fell off falling through the drainage gate that Adam was standing over, talk about bad timing. So he stuck the wheels on and raced it the best we could. She made it to the third round but each time the wheels came flying off. Oh well, better luck next year.
