Enjoying our Cool-down

Saturday, June 12th, we had a major cool-down here...a 20 degree difference giving us a beautiful mid 80s day. So what did we do, along with the rest of Phoenix (not really), head to the Zoo. We brought a picnic along with us and enjoyed a beautiful day!

These two friends sat through our entire Lunch with us. Kenedee even dared to feed one some of her sandwich and it snatched it right out of her fingers. We had quite the animal gathering around our table...ducks, birds, squirrels.

These two really are the best of friends. Although it was a lot of work when these two were babies (20 months apart) I've loved how close in age they are as they get bigger. Pure entertainment!

Following our afternoon at the Zoo, we headed home for naps, and then to our friends for a Pool/BBQ party. Couldn't have picked a better way to spend this day.
