Christmas Nativities

We had our Ward Christmas Party on Saturday, December 18th. The Primary was in charge of the Nativity this year and the kids did a great job. Since you can't have every child acting out the Nativity, the rest of the Primary stood in front of the stage and sang the songs during the Nativity.

It's still so weird to me that Kenedee is in Primary, she seems so little!

On Sunday, December 19th, we enjoyed a yummy Christmas dinner at Adam's uncle's house before our Christmas vacationing began. The kids acted out the Nativity that evening and did a great job...kind of. It took a lot of persuading Lincoln to be a Wiseman but Kenedee was thrilled to be Mary...

They rounded up three hats for the Wisemen, each one was pretty hilarious. Everytime I looked at Lincoln, I just cracked up - he looked so funny in that hat. Here is the crew before the Nativity began...

Parker & Kenedee as Joseph & Mary. Kenedee felt like a rockstar up there :)

When the Wisemen walked out, Lincoln immediately walked over to the Manger and placed his gift right on top of Baby Jesus. It made us laugh cause neither one of us told him to do that but he must have thought 'this IS for baby Jesus, guess I'll give it to him now'... By the end the other boys had joined in and all three gifts were sitting in the manger with baby Jesus. Pretty cute.

Near the end of the Nativity, during a song, Lincoln laid down on the floor and was in his own little world out there. I couldn't stop laughing at this kid all night, he was kind of a goofball out there...

After our evening with the family, we stopped by a Train display on our way home. We didn't really know what to expect but not this! The entire backyard of this guy's house was landscaped and covered with trains, we're talking a HUGE lot of land. Here are the trains that were in his garage not being used. While thousands were moving all around his backyard, INSANE.

An attempt at a sibling shot: no bow, fake smiles, but I still think they're pretty adorable!

Next up...Christmas Vacation!
