Waiting outside for our train to come...

Standing in front of THE POLAR EXPRESS! The kids were so excited to get on!

Boarding the train...

Once we were all aboard, they handed each of us a Christmas songbook and napkin for goodies. They then brought by tasty hot chocolate (at the perfect temperature might I add) and cookies made by Mrs. Claus. These two boys LOVE hot chocolate! (And Adam loves posing with lame smiles, buster)

After we finished our goodies, they read the Polar Express while we followed along in our book.

Almost there...can you tell Lincoln was a little excited!

We finally arrived at the North Pole. It was so fun to see. Santa was out there on his big red sleigh with the biggest bag of presents that I've EVER seen. Along with Bernard the Elf up on a ladder marking off the names on his list...AWESOME!

After passing by the North Pole, the train stopped and went back the way we came. When we passed back by Santa's sleigh, he was nowhere to be seen! So we all started singing 'Here comes Santa Claus' and in he walked. All of the kids were SOOOO excited!

Santa came through our train car and gave every child a bell. The kids thought this was pretty cool.

And the bells never stopped ringing the whole way back...

Adam and I were pretty impressed with it all. Our kids LOVED every second which totally made the night. Thank you McKay & Julie for a fabulous Christmas memory that we just might have to continue!

That sounds awesome! I would love to do that with our kids. Maybe if we get stationed in Arizona, or go there for Christmas we can do it net year. One thing they should do is give the adults ear plugs when they give the kids bells:) Maybe bells aren't too bad, but someone gave my kids straws that whistle when you blow in them and they drive me nuts.
I'm so bummed that we never did this when we were in AZ. I had friends who did though and they loved it too! I'm so glad you had a good time. BTW, you look GREAT!! (Are you sure you have a baby in there?!?!)
P.S. Sorry to hear about your Grandpa's passing. He sounds like an incredible individual.
