Spring Break

Spring Break this year was March 12th - 16th. We didn't leave town but kept busy.

Tuesday, March 12th we enjoyed a Dodgers Spring Training game. Adam was quite excited to see them up close: 3rd row behind the Dodgers dugout, which would not happen in Dodgers Stadium.

We showed up early so the kids could get a ball autographed. Adam & the kids were a few people back but...

They got one!!! From none other than Don Mattingly aka "Donnie Baseball", the Dodgers coach and former Yankees player. Adam and the kids were excited about this one and they each have something to show for it!

Can't beat these seats, Spring Training baseball is a good time :)

It was a beautiful 80 degrees that day, but Mr. Sensitive skin was sure showing the heat :)

Peanuts make any game a delight for Lincoln & Kenedee.

Two thumbs up for the game except for the run-ins with beer, my least favorite part about sporting events. Why don't they contain those things, I swear they're always spilling all over the place. First incident was mostly my fault though. As we were scooting into our seats, the guy letting us through didn't see my diaper bag behind my shoulder and it knocked it out of his hands, spilling all down Kenedee's side and soaking her legs....not fun. After a trip to the bathroom we got it cleaned up. Second incident was for sure not my fault. The guy in front of us went to catch the ball that a Dodgers player threw into the stands and instead of catching the ball, he accidently threw his cup of beer right in his face, kind of hilarious to witness. But after soaking his face, it also splashed down soaking their entire bag of peanuts...buster!!! I guess the bonus was that Adam caught the ball. All in all, a great day!

Wednesday, March 13th, was our first swim day of the season. A beautiful 85 degree day spent at the pool. Pierce is a fan, which will make this summer of swimming much easier than with a tiny baby last year.

I still laugh at how alike and different these two look. Similar features but completely opposite hair and skin tones...my cute boys!
