We headed over to the V's for a FEAST, a serious feast let me tell you. Now that all of the kids have grown up and started having kids, it has become quite the crowd, but so fun to catch up.
After dinner the kids disappeared downstairs until it was time for the Nativity. Cooper and Lincoln played the 'Double Shot' probably the entire time, it's all Lincoln could talk about. We might need to invest in one of these in a future home, Lincoln was obsessed! Love this picture that my sister took...
For the Christmas Nativity this year, Kenedee was chosen to be Mary and Lincoln a wiseman. Chris V had the Wiseman costume for Lincoln to wear and I don't think anyone could look at him straight, without busting up laughing, every time they looked at him, hilarious! It was a sweet costume but quite festive compared to everyone else. Go Lincoln, you rocked it!!! (Kenedee was quite excited to be Mary and LOVED cuddling baby Jesus)
The cast of the Christmas Nativity...
When we got home that evening, we found that the Elfs had enjoyed themselves a snowball fight with marshmellows while we were gone. The kids could not believe this! Their were four Elfs in on this game...my parents, Kate's, ours flew from Arizona while we were there, and Kellie's flew from Georgia - what stinkers!
Christmas pajama time! (It's moments like these when I see my organizational skills go crazy. It started last year and happened again this year, which might just become a tradition in our family. Each person's gifts were wrapped in the same wrapping paper, and they knew what that would be the following morning based on what wrapping paper their pajamas were wrapped in. A little bit of craziness going on but that's just me :)
Our three cuties rocking their new pajamas...
Aunt Kate and cousin Cooper busted out their new pajamas as well, Ryder had already gone to sleep...
That evening the kids left out milk & cookies for Santa, carrots for the reindeer, and little donuts (frosted cheerios) for the Elves... and off to bed we went.
