The start of BASEBALL!!!

We put Lincoln in Teeball (ages 3-4) and Kenedee in Coach Pitch (ages 5-7). I don't think they quite knew what to expect since this was the first sport for each of them but they love it! They are both at such a young age that they become easily distracted but for the most part, they know what they're doing. Both teams picked the color of shirt that they wanted to go with their team names... The Avengers (Lincoln) and the Little Devils (Kenedee). But when their shirts and hats arrived, both teams ended up with blue shirts and LA Dodgers hats...which made one happy dad around here. It's pretty cute to see them all sporting their hats each Saturday...

Saturday, March 31st, was the first day of Baseball games. These two are the best of friends!

Lincoln's game was first. I love seeing my kids play sports...learning new skills, team work, dedication, endurance, competitiveness. I love it all!

Lincoln is a skilled little ball player out there. He loves getting the ball and has a killer throw.

Our little lefty, like his Dad...

He made it to first (but then they all do at this age, everyone hits and no one gets out :)

Kenedee's game was next. I always laugh when I see how small she is around kids her age...she is tiny out there (the second to last person in line). She isn't as naturally skilled as her brother but is getting better. She is working on her throw and is actually a great hitter. Her coach just graduated college and was the catcher for ASU. He is great with the kids.

Warming up with a run around the bases. Love the girl skip, hahaha!

They each get 5 pitches and she usually hits it by the 2nd or 3rd pitch, not bad for her first time.

A little coaching from dad on first base...

Her coach is very good to her. She gets easily distracted in the outfield so he'll quite often go stand by her to get her focused, so funny!
